The buffalo wandered the Great Plains in vast herds. The male buffalo weighs more than a ton and stands over six feet tall. It is estimated that in the mid 1800's there was many as 60 million buffalo throughout the great plains.

Before they were programming their computers to operate a lazar torch and cut out metal decor on a massive scale, J Dunbar was doing thesame by hand one at a time. The differences in artistic style are quite obvious. No machine look here!
All J Dunbar Gallery Collection metal art is made from 10ga. steel plate, cut by hand with a cutting torch. The slag is removed with a hand held grinder while at the same time the piece is being reshaped to bring out special characteristics of each image. Ring material varies from piece to piece, some with 3/8" steel rod others with 1/8" x 1/2" flat strap. Both ring styles can be welded to any steel surface. Only a few of these and other gallery collection designs are created each year for your lodge, log cabin, ranch or home decor.
